Research Overview

Research background: R10 is a unimolecular peptide engineered to act as an agonist at three distinct receptors — GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. This triple-receptor activity has attracted substantial attention in metabolic and endocrine research literature, as models combining incretin and glucagon receptor pathways have shown differentiated effects compared to single- or dual-agonist compounds in preclinical studies.

Literature: Coskun et al., Cell Metabolism (2022) — receptor pharmacology and preclinical model data. For a fuller discussion of the triple-agonist mechanism and what current published research indicates, see our research overview of R10. For guidance on vial concentrations, standardisation and reproducibility across batches, see Retatrutide research formats.

Reconstitution Guidance

This product is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder and requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water prior to use in a research setting. Standard laboratory practice is to add the diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial and gently swirl — never shake — to avoid denaturing the peptide structure. Reconstituted solution should be stored at 2-8°C and used within the timeframe indicated by standard peptide stability literature. For a full step-by-step protocol, see our peptide reconstitution guide.

Storage & Shipping

Store lyophilised powder at -20°C upon receipt. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated and shielded from light. All VeridianLabs orders are shipped securely in protective bubble-wrap packaging via standard courier; lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature in transit, so cold-chain shipping is not required. For more on why lyophilised peptides tolerate ambient shipping conditions, see our guide to peptide lyophilisation and stability.

Certificate of Analysis & Purity

Independent HPLC testing confirmed 99.802% purity (Janoshik, Task #166796) for the current batch, exceeding our 98% minimum acceptance threshold. View the Certificate of Analysis. If you’re unfamiliar with how to interpret a COA, our guide on how to read a Certificate of Analysis explains what each section means and what to check before relying on any supplier’s documentation.
